These situations have happened to me and I wanted to share them with you, I will also leave you a video of how these prayers are made.

- I would have liked to study business administration because I would like to have my own company but I realized that I liked medicine better because I like to help people and understand all diseases.

- Last week I was going to go to carnivals but I didn't go because I was very tired.

- I wanted to go on a trip in January but I thought the vacations were longer and I couldn't go.

- I was going to study English for a year in another country but it was very expensive.

 EMBEDDED QUESTIONS

Hello guys, today I bring you a very interesting topic and that many do not know but they use it a lot and they are embedded questions.

An embedded question is a type of question which is included within another question or sentence. It is different from other types of questions, as there must not be any auxiliary verb between the question word and the subject.

Sentences that include embedded question usually begins with common introductory phrases like:

• ·       Could you tell me
• ·       I’d like to know
• ·       I’m not sure
• ·       Do you know
• ·       I wonder
• ·       Would you mind
• ·       Let’s ask

Examples:

1. Direct Question: What work did he do best?

Embedded Question: I’d like to know what work he did best.

2. Direct Question: What is her name?

Embedded Question: I wonder what her name is.

Hello friends, I hope you are very well, today I brought you a super interesting topic that will serve us for life and it is reading habits.

First of all we must know that reading is very important so that we are always informed, so that we learn and analyze

The willingness to learn and discover new things is one of the main pillars when it comes to changing your habits and developing healthy new ones. To improve yourself, you should read constantly so that you can stay competitive in your field by learning new techniques and strategies that separate you from others.

Doing this on a regular basis will teach you how to approach a subject from many angles.

Some of the genres you can read are:

• Fantasy: Fantasy is a genre that’s identified by the use of magic within it. 👽🐲🏰

• Adventure: Writing a novel in the adventure category will require a trip, journey, or quest of some kind as the overall plot.  🚢✈🏯

• Romance: In this book genre, the romance is the center point of the plot. The entire novel moves around the relationship, though other plot points may be present. A classic example of a romance novel is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.👬👭👫💖

• Mystery: This book genre is defined by the plot focusing on solving a mystery, most often with the mystery impacting the main character to the point where they’re the ones involved in solving it. 😥😬

• Horror: Horror novels are characterized by the fact that the main plot revolves around something scary and terrifying.👺😦😥

• Thriller: This book genre most often deals with danger and dread instead, with high emotional impact involving fear.

• Paranormal: Paranormal books are characterized by including paranormal activity, like ghosts, clairvoyance, mediums, demons, vampires, and more.

• Science fiction novels are those that take place in a futuristic society with advanced technology and occasionally otherworldly beings. 😯

Modal verbs

Hi guys, today I want us to learn a little about modal verbs. I hope you like it and learn a lot 😋

--> Modal verbs are used to express certain hypothetical conditions, such as advice, capability, or requests. They’re used alongside a main verb to change its meaning slightly. Because they’re auxiliary verbs, they can’t necessarily be used on their own. 

Modal verbs are quite common in English, and you’ve probably seen them hundreds of times without actually knowing their name. The most frequently used ones are: 

• can
• may
• might
• could 
• should
• would
• will
• must

We use modals to show if we believe something is certain, possible or impossible:

My keys must be in the car.
It might rain tomorrow.
That can't be Peter's coat. It's too small.

We also use them to do things like talk about ability, ask permission, and make requests and offers:

I can't swim.
May I ask a question?
Could I have some tea, please?
Would you like some help?

Hello guys, I hope you are very well today I bring you a very important topic and it is the perfect past I hope it helps you understand it better. I will give you some exercises to practice.

The positive - make it with 'had' + the past participle (usually made by adding 'ed' to the infinitive, but a few verbs have irregular past participles):

(Also, here's some help if you are not sure how to pronounce '-ed' at the end of a verb).

• I had been (I'd been)
• You had gone (you'd gone)
• She had met (she'd met)
• He had played (he'd played)
• It had rained (it'd rained)
• We had bought (we'd bought)
• They had studied (they'd studied)

The short form for 'had' is 'd.
(Be careful not to confuse it with 'would'. Would is followed by the infinitive - 'I'd go', whereas had is followed by the past participle - 'I'd gone').

For the negative just add 'not':

• I had not been (I hadn't been)
• You had not gone (you hadn't gone)
• She had not met (she hadn't met)
• He had not played (he hadn't played)
• It had not rained (it hadn't rained)
• We had not bought (we hadn't bought)
• They had not studied (they hadn't studied)

Here's a exercise about the positive and negative forms.

And to make a 'yes / no' question put 'had' before the subject:

• Had I come?
• Had you eaten?
• Had she gone?
• Had it rained?
• Had he studied?
• Had we met?
• Had they left?

For 'wh' questions put the question word at the beginning:

• When had I come?
• Why had you eaten?
• Where had she gone?
• When had it rained?
• Why had he studied?
• How had we met?
• When had they left?

Complete the sentences with the correct form of the verb in parentheses.

Alex had not traveled (not/travel) alone before his trip to London.

- I ____ (be) at home all day. I had to get out and go for a walk.- She ____ (teach) Shakespeare before.- We ____ (not/finish) the document when the computer crashed.- She ____ (prepare) dinner before leaving for work that day.

 

Tag Questions💥

A tag question is a small question that is attached , or "tagged", to the end of a sentence. Rather than repeat the main verb, a form of "be" or other auxiliary verb or modal is used in the tag. Below are a few examples.

You came by train, didn’t you?

It’s very windy today, isn’t it?

You can meet me at the station, can’t you?

You couldn’t give me a ride, could you?

Sentence Pattern

If the sentence is negative, the tag is usually positive, as in the example below.

You didn’t tell him, did you?

Note: Sentences with negative words are considered to be negative. Therefore, they require positive tag question endings, as in these examples:

He never drinks alcohol, does he?

Nobody left a message, did they?

If the sentence is positive, the tag is usually negative, as in the next example.

Using Tag Questions

Tag questions are used to ask for agreement or to ask for things, favours, or new information. To determine which, listen to the speaker's tone. A rising tone at the end of a tag question indicates that it is a real question. The speaker wants to know something or wants someone to do something. Falling tone however, means that the speaker is looking for agreement.
